Vintage Holmegaard candle holder, Sidse Werner. 1970s Denmark. Danish art glass textured petal, leaf, Water-lily flower. Dinner candlestick

A beautiful art glass candle holder by Holmegaard of Copenhagen, Denmark. Designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Glass in the 1960s/1970s, this is probably 1970s vintage. The design is based on either the Water-lily or Garni series.

It is flat and polished to the uppers, underneath is shaped like a flower with ice-textured outer petals/leaves. The heavy clear pressed glass has a slight hint of aqua blue. It's a small candle holder - designed to take a standard tapered dinner candle (2cm wide hole). 10.5cm wide x 3cm tall.

Excellent condition. Maintains its original sticker. Probably hand blown, moulded and hand finished. Perfect for Christmas dining or mood-setting, or to go with other votives.

Includes P&P to the UK.
