A vintage handmade/mouth blown Holmegaard glass carafe. It was designed around 1955 by Ole Winther, Denmark, so is circa 1960s mid century era.
The bottle is a dusky blue, like a pale Midnight or Indigo, and features a 'CE' monogram embossed stamp. It has a feature concave base. The rim is rounded with a spout for pouring. 
22.5cm tall x 12cm widest at the base. Probably designed as a water or wine carafe for the table - holds about one bottle of wine.
Very good condition with no chips. The glass being blown and moulded has natural internal bubbles and creases. Iconic mid century Scandinavian design.
