A matching pair of beautiful art glass candle holders by Holmegaard of Copenhagen, Denmark. Designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Glass in the 1960s/1970s, these are probably 1980s. The design is 'Water-lily' and I believe they're model no. 601-30-16. They are shaped like an opening flower with icy textured outer petals or leaves. The heavy clear pressed glass has a slight hint of aqua blue. A decent sized small bowl or large candle holder/votive. 12.5cm wide x 7.5cm high - a chunky 735 grams each. 
Very good condition, just one small invisible chip to an outermost petal edge. Probably hand blown, moulded and hand finished. Perfect for fancy dining or mood-setting, or to go with other votives.
