A Lumina angel, designed by Bjorn Wiinblad (Denmark) for Rosenthal (Germany). Wiinblad worked for Rosenthal from 1971, so circa 1970s vintage.

This angel is moulded quality clear glass and is very much like Wiinblad's other Scandinavian designs with her round stylised face and whimsical features. High quality glass, probably crystal content. It's from the Studio Linie range but not marked as such (no maker's marks). Designed to hold a standard dinner tapered candle - the opening to her crown is just under 2cm.

Excellent condition. 11.6cm tall x 10.5cm wide max x 5cm deep.
