A super art glass vase, designed by Bjorn Wiinblad (Denmark) for Rosenthal (Germany). Wiinblad worked for Rosenthal from 1971, and this vase was designed to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Rosenthal, dating it exactly from 1979. 
High quality thick clear glass, with a crystal content. It's from the Studio Linie range with an etched logo to the base. It's a chunky simple cylinder vase with frosted swirly shapes, the frosting has engraved outlines. The abstract design is a whimsical pop-art / flower power / psychedelic type design, typical of the 70s. Wiinblad's etched signature is to the side. Flat polished rim. Really hard to photograph, but this is a beautiful statement vase.
Excellent condition. 24cm tall x 6.5cm wide.
