Glasi Hergiswil art glass butter/cheese plate. Swiss cow 'Olma' platter by Willy Steinlin/Roberto Niederer Scandinavian design. Cheese board

A super art glass platter produced by Swiss glass makers Glasi Hergiswil based on the design of Willy Steinlin (the designer of the Scandinavian OLMA series) who ran a design studio in St. Gallen from 1971 to 2003. Design is also attributed to Roberto Niederer. No idea on era, probably 1990s vintage.
Heavy quality smooth lead-free crystal, poured/cast into a mold leaving an embossed design on the reverse with a pair of Modernist/Scandinavian styled cows and flowers.

Intended as a cheese board or butter pat serving plate.
Sizeable - just shy of 30cm x 14.5cm x 19mm thick! Weighs a hefty 1.5kg.
Most likely unused as it maintains its original sticker.
It has one fine scratch diagonally across the top - hard to see and feel - otherwise excellent.
