A fun West German mid century fishy ashtray or string dispenser bowl... He's a black satin glazed moulded ceramic, hand painted with glossy spots and glazed mouth, eyes and fins. Model number 4133, designed by Anneliese Beckh for Zell Schmider, Germany. Circa 1950s to 1960s mid century. Stamped and printed to the base. More an ornament and fun figurine or bowl. Very good with no chips or crazing. Clean with no chips or crazing, unused as an ashtray. One eye doesn't have a central dot. 12 x 7.5 x 7.5cm. Includes fast free P&P within the UK.
