A larger 23cm version of iittala's 'Pinus' art glass vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala for iittala, Finland. It's vase no 2784, a 1973 design, and likely to be 1970s or 1980s vintage. 
It has ice/bark vertically rippled and spotted surface textures and is an irregular shape, with knobbly bobbly central area. All ice-like in bright clear moulded glass with a crystal content. Fixed blown glass with flat polished rim - handmade and mouth blown in Finland. It is hand signed TW to the base. A vintage Scandinavian/Finnish high quality handmade vintage item.
Good displayable example. A small chip to a furthermost outer rim corner and a nibble to the inner rim... both small and not really noticeable, both shown. A large and chunky and statement 23cm x 15.5cm x 10cm. Weighs a heavy 1.9kg - pretty solid thick glass. Bigger than most!
