A beautiful example of a small glass posy or bulb vase, by British firm Whitefriars, pattern number 9471. I believe the colouring is Sapphire Blue, though it also resembles Arctic blue. Sapphire was mid to late 1950s, and Arctic was post 1960. Lightly 'optically-ribbed' - a very slight linear pattern - with flat polished rim and rounded base. This one has an original blue foil sticker and is tiny at 6.3cm tall x 4.6cm wide rim. Petite - would hold a small bulb, or up to a dozen daisy/buttercup stems. A lovely collectable example of Mid Century British glass. Excellent for 60-65 years old! Includes P&P to the UK.
