A fantastic art glass swirly paperweight by Whitefriars Glass, England...
Design no 9851, which dated from around 1978 to 1980. I believe this is full lead crystal and probably designed and made by Ray Annenberg. It has pale yellow/white, pale aqua and purple streaks within, and delicate precise controlled bubbles fading upwards. This is a very nicely made example with evenly spaced bubbles. 
About 8cm wide x 7cm tall. Weighs 823g. Typical Whitefriars base with polished inner pontil. It's a large 3" sized sculpture with remnants of the original model number label to the base. 
Excellent example - I can't find any flaws, so, dare I say, it's perfect.
