A fabulous retro Kingfisher Blue 'Aztec' textured art glass vase by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars. It appeared in the Whitefriars catalogues from about 1972, so dating from the early to mid 1970s. Mouth blown in to a mould, it's a vivid cyan turquoise, geometrically textured with square C shapes.
17.5cm tall, 6cm wide at rim. Cased in clear flint glass with flat polished rim. Weighs about 550g. Very good collectable condition. Stunning on display... No chips or fleabites or water staining. A lovely example.
