A lovely Ruby Red bark textured candle holder by Geoffrey Baxter, Whitefriars, England (late 60s design).
Circa 1970 to 1974 when they made these in Red (they came in pairs back in the day). 
It's 8.5cm wide x 5.6cm tall, cylinder shaped with hole in the middle for a dinner/tapered candle. It's a Whitefriars ruby red, lighter and more orangey in places, highly textured outers and smooth inner. Cased in clear glass.
No noticeable chips or fleabites or nibbles. Base and rim shows a few small signs of age. 
Good, collectable and useable condition, ideal as a replacement or to cluster with others.
