A super vintage Walter Bosse style tall and elegant scared cat ring holder figurine. Produced in England and closely copied from the famous Austrian designs. The design dates from the 1960s or so and is stamped with 'England' and '607 Reg Des No 875' to the feet - unknown maker.
This version is handcrafted in solid brass, with a stylised Modernist look and black coating, specific areas were polished to reveal a golden sheen, highlighting certain features. Being a 'ring holder' he has a hole at the base of his tail where a larger loop would have been to stop rings from dropping down too far.
Very good condition for the age, some small areas of missing black, please see pictures. 15cm long x 3cm deep x 14cm tall.
