A striking 1970s or 1980s Waechtersbach large gentleman piggy bank, from West Germany. He's from a series of similar piggy banks, including his matching female other half with red lipstick. They're quite hard to find...
White fine moulded and glazed ceramic, large and rotund, with black features like slicked back hair, moustache and red bow tie. He is a functional money box with slot to the top and metal locked plate to the base (no key). Circa 1970s or 1980s vintage.
A good sized 13cm tall x 14cm long x 11cm wide. Excellent condition with natural ageing to the metal plate below out of sight. He's empty with no key. 
Very displayable and collectable - fab West German design.
