A fabulous vintage Trentham orange donkey... He's a larger sized donkey/ass by Trentham Art Ware, Devon. Circa 1970s or so - typical colourings and glazes from that time. The bright vivid orange has aqua (duck egg/mint) coloured trim with deliberate black bleed around. He looks to be model number 245, 295 or 395 - see last photo. The base clay is a white colour. Moulded ceramic/pottery moulded donkey: 17cm tall x 17cm wide x 8cm deep. 
Excellent condition for the age and era. Some areas of deliberate thinner/whiter glaze.
