A sprung modernist bookend, from around the 1960s to 1970s. Others like it (just metal versions) are known as The Bookworm - I'm not sure of the maker of this more unusual wood version. It's a silvery steel metal with a teak (or similar) hardwood upright - 1960s mid century vibes. When uncoiled the self-supporting standalone book holder can hold up to about 18-20cm of books (max). Good for the age and era. Some small surface marks and a little wear around the edges, but good and displayable and useable. The base has a felt coating to protect your desk. I've treated the wood with some Danish oil. 15.5cm tall x 10cm widest at the base and coil. Price includes P&P to the UK.
