A foliage-inspired leafy vintage plant trough by SylvaC, England. Circa 1950s to 1960s... It's a series of hyacinth leaves forming a bowl shape, intended as an indoor planter. 
A useful sized 17 x 11 x 9cm (max) - would fit a cluster of small succulent plants if used as a planter, or a bunch of wild flowers if used as a vase. It's in a light warm brown or beige matt glaze (photos not representative of the true colour). Stamped on the base with '2482 SylvaC Made in England'. 
Excellent, with not many signs of age or use. No crazing or chips, unusually. A lovely collectable and useable example.
