A fantastic teal coloured Empoli ornamental pitcher jug or vase. Vintage, circa 1970s, from Empoli, Italy. It's by Stelvia and the design is probably by Wayne Husted from Blenko Glass. It has been mouth blown into a mould and the patterns are geometric 3D rounded circles - just like a 'Dalek'. It's cased with white inside so it's not transparent and has a contrasting hand applied twisted clear glass handle. 
Excellent condition, clean with no chips. All as originally produced. A decent-sized statement 26cm tall x 11.5cm widest, excluding the clear handle. Rim is 10cm wide - perfect to be used as a vase. The teal could also be described as a peacock, petrol, blue/green.
A retro and kitsch colour statement, perfect for a mid-century modern teak sideboard or shelving display.
