A large blue vintage vase by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany, dating from the 1960s or 1970s 'fat lava' era. This vintage pottery vase is rich glossy blue colouring, with four stripes with squared flower patterns, and indented rings inbetween. I believe the design is called Tundra. The glaze is glossy and lighter blue over the relief patterns. Blues are a rich Royal/cobalt with mid blue stripes.
A typical straight-sided Scheurich shape, mid century modern and retro in styling - perfect statement for your retro interior and to add to a collection. Great size for a bunch of large statement stems, or as a floor vase.
The shape is 268-30... 30 denoting 30cm tall. 13cm wide. Inside rim is 8cm wide. Stamped to the base. Excellent condition. Please see photos showing decor, colour and condition.
Photos don't do it justice - it's a fab vibrant rich glossy blue!
Price includes P&P to the UK.
