A vintage Soviet (USSR/CCCP) tin mechanical toy doll. This shape was around in 1980 so probably late 1970s or early 1980s.
The basic formed-metal tin doll is shaped like a traditional folk female figure. Her dress is pink and blue and has an icy wintery feel. The plastic base has a 'Y' logo... I'm unsure of the maker - the box says 'Chetypohka'. She's in very good condition as you can see. The metal and the base don't have much wear, I don't think she's been played with. She comes with her original wind-up key and box.
Very good for age. Box is worn and tatty. She winds up and the mechanism works and the wheels move, but as soon as you put her down the mechanism can stop - she can move/dance on a flat shiny surface. But a doll like this is more for show or for a collection than for playing with.
15.5cm tall x 8.3 x 6.3cm at the blue plastic base.
