A super Rosenthal (Germany) white porcelain bowl (would have been intended as an ashtray)...
It's circa 1960s mid century vintage and is mid-century modernist and minimalist in style. Simple round straight sided shape with vertical stripes/ribs which extend inwards as a rim. There's a rounded inner well. It's bright white and glossy in and out. Beautifully simple.
11cm wide x 4cm tall - a nice size for nuts if used as a bowl. Stamped on the base with the Rosenthal Germany logo (which with a dot to the right should date it to 1966).
Very good condition. A dot of discolouration to the centre.
