A beautiful vintage art glass vase by Rosenthal, West Germany, with a butterfly design by Alain le Foll.  
The simple shaped vase with flared rim features two butterflies on some grasses. The illustrations are gold lines with light grey infills, over the clear glass. The printed gold decor is reflective gilt, so reflects and shines in different ways - see pics. Produced as part of the later mid century Studio Linie range - form #20381 and decor #110117. 
The small flower vase is 12cm tall with a 7cm wide rim and 5cm wide base. Etched with the Rosenthal Studio Linie logo to the base. There's a signature as part of the gold design, and the vase maintains its original paper label (I think the sticker dates it to mid 1980s). The items comes boxed in their original packaging.
Excellent collectable condition. Simple, stylish, elegant piece. Perfect for a modern or Mid-century home or for a Rosenthal collector.
