A funky set of six boxed Pyrex JAJ cups... Tempo originated in 1972 and was also nick-named 'Carnaby' after Carnaby Street and a nod to the carefree late 60s early 70s. The design ran until 1977. White opal pressed glasswear, with bands of retro abstract flowers in mint green, orange, blue and browns. They all have the JAJ 'made in England' around a crown logo to the base (shape number 622). They come in an original cardboard box with a bunch of old Pyrex Corning care leaflets. Box is great for the age/era (it is a Corning box rather than James A Jobling). All very good condition. Some teeny flaws in the print, see pics, and only one appears to have spoon marks internally from use. Each cup is around 8.7cm diameter (excl handle) x 6.5cm tall.... a mid-size, suitable to both teas and coffee. Apx 200ml. Perfect for a Sunday morning in your retro 1970s retro kitchen or garden!
