A stunning and decent-sized Murano art glass ashtray/bowl in a mid century modernist style. It is a gorgeous cyan or turquoise blue colour with pink surround, cased in clear. The large shallow triangular dish has clear globular lobes underneath.
Mouth blown/handmade in Murano, Italy, and likely 1970s-1990s vintage. Flat polished triangular base with no real signs of age. Very good condition with no chips. It does have some natural wobbles, lines and tiny bubbles from being mouth blown but no obvious signs of age.
A good sized low and chunky 22 x 19.5 x 4.5cm, weighs 1kg. A sizeable statement piece and a fab splash of colour on display.
