A stunning art glass dish with very precise controlled bubbles. Mouth blown and handmade in Murano (Italy) and likely from one of the following glass masters: Galliano Ferro, Archimede Seguso, Venini (Carlo Scarpa) or Ferro Italarts. Circa 1960s to 1980s mid century vintage.
It is rich ruby red colour. The internal bubbles are very precise and are very skillfully executed - the work of an artist. Typical mid century Murano Glass ashtray shape and style with a rounded form and scrolled or curled end. 11 x 10 x 4cm with excellent flat polished base.
Very good condition, great internally with no signs of use. A couple of tiny marks externally. A beautiful vintage curiosity, a statement and conversation piece, a gem, and artisan masterpiece!
