A minimalist simple 1950s silver-coloured pewter bangle. Handmade by Jorgen Jensen, Denmark, and fully stamped internally with 'Jorgen Jensen Pewter JJ Denmark 140'. The JJ logo is an earlier maker's mark I believe, so from before his more abstract pieces from the 1960s.
Solid pewter bangle in a D-shape (flat inside, light curved outside), a 1.2cm wide round band. The internal circumference is around 21cm - please check that it should fit you. Not adjustable, it slips on and off. The circle shape is 7cm wide. I have a tiny wrist (see pics) and it's slightly too big for me. Weighs a chunky 61 grams.
The pewter is a silver-grey metal with only a slight shine. Pewter is notoriously soft, so (on close inspection and on the photos) there are small surface marks and natural wear and tear and aging. Pre-loved condition.
