A stunning and tightly packed millefiori art glass panel mounted in a beautifully simple sterling silver pill box. The box is made by Giorgi, Italy, and the glass panel will be Murano origin. Giorgi usually made pendants and souvenir badges. It's stamped to the back "[star logo], 632 VI, 925". Circa 1970s.
The round glass design is red, white and blue tiny flower canes, concentric, on a clear glass base. It's beautifully made and very detailed - my photos don't do it justice. The pill box is modernist and simple in design, straight sided and classy. It has a white plastic inner to the base to hold your tablets or sweeteners.
Nice condition. Looks good and has no dents, some fine surface marks to the upper. Glass is very good. Stays closed when the two tiny knobbles are together. 35mm wide x 14mm tall. Internally it's about 30mm x 11mm. 
More a dressing table than handbag piece, but a lovely gift idea for a pill/snuff box collector.
