A boxed original set of six of Tapio Wirkkala designed 'Tapio' white wine glasses, made by iittala and made in Finland. 
The design dates from the 1952, and looking at the old packaging these are probably 1970s vintage. They come in their retro original box with polystyrene inners. They're apx 13cm tall, which I believe are the 'White Wine' glasses. Each glass is 18cl, or 180ml, a good chunky handful size. They're 13cm tall x 6.5cm wide at the rim. Solid base with a single controlled bubble within, handmade so they're all very slightly different. Bright clear crystal content glass, made in Finland. They look to be model number 2101 018.
Great condition. Box is in good vintage condition, see pics. One glass would have been classed as a 'second' as it has a rim imperfection and a slight bobble of glass within, shown.
This classic design is still made today and retails at about £38 each (I've based these on £25 each). But this is an original 50 year old set of six with retro packaging.
