A 1960s/1970s lidded casserole/cooking dish or tureen - 'Tor Viking' design by Turi Gramstad Oliver for Figgjo Flint, Norway.
The pattern was created in the 1960s and produced up to 1973. Heavy 'flameware Vulcanus' stoneware ceramic, with a screen-printed blue, dusky blue and pale olive green abstract floral design to the lid. Background and inner colour of a pale 'putty' colour. The design looks hand-drawn/sketched and is typically retro Scandinavian. Stamped to the base of the dish with: "Made in FF Norway. Figgjo Flameware. Vulcanus for gas and electricity. Decor: Tor Viking."
In very good condition, see photos. Dish is 19.7cm wide at the rim x 7.5cm tall, 12cm tall with lid on.
