A 'fat lava' era pottery vase by Dumler & Breiden, West Germany...
It's an unusually simple vase with a neutral warm grey speckled glaze with scraped off-white vertical stripes. Circa 1970s or so - yet perfect for a modern neutral decor.
The grey is like a mushroom or taupe colour, it's smooth and satin. Off-white inside and a light coloured clay base. Stamped on base with '173/21 Germany' - the last '21' meaning 21cm tall. The minimal modest vase is 20.5cm tall x 6.5cm wide at the base, 4.5cm wide rim. Suitable to take a half dozen stems if used as a vase.
Great displayable and collectable condition with no chips.
