A 'Shuggy Bar Ice Bucket', hand made in Dartington, Devon, England.
The design originated in 1984/1985 and was by Frank Thrower. Model number FT375. It comes with the original minimalist plastic/acrylic ice tongs - made by Guzzini. It's round with internal ripples creating an optic pattern. Towards the top there's a wider flared rim, with flat polished rim. Bright clear crystal content glass (24% lead crystal). Handmade, mouth blown. It maintains its original 1980s gold sticker (denoting first class quality). It also has an etched 'D' logo on the base.
It's in excellent condition. 5" or 12.8cm tall x 14.5cm widest at the rim, and a heavy thick 930g.
