A mid century nutcracker, by Coricama Brevetto, Italy. It's the 44441 model, made of quality cast chromed steel/metal (I can't find any others out there). Very much a space-age and stylish Modernist feel, with its slick minimalist designer shape. Circa 1950s or 1960s vintage.
16cm long x 3.2cm x 1.3cm (slimline and neatly rounded). Will press a nut up to about 4.5cm using its inner steel stepped grippers/pressers. Very good vintage condition for the age and era. A lovely bright silver colour. They're stamped as 'Foreign'. 
A beautiful and stylish addition to any kitchen/bar area.
