A fabulous Czech/Bohemian magenta pink art glass bowl by Chribska - designed by Josef Hospodka. Circa 1970s to 1980s era. A solid chunk of sculptural handmade colourful glass with spiky petals and clear edges...
Free-form mouth blown bowl which was probably sold as a fancy large ashtray back in the day. From above it's flower-like with three petals and three folds in, each folded so there's six ears or spikes. Lobed underneath with distinctive the Hospodka clear solid three-lobe foot with flat polished base. The hot pink is cased in clear glass around the petal edges. 
Excellent condition with nothing to report, no signs of age or use. A good sized 19.5cm wide x 10cm tall and a chunky 1.3kg.
