A beautiful example of the rarer Escher or Carré glass handkerchief vase, by Chance Glass, England. Circa 1970s vintage; it was introduced in 1974. The original name for this vase was Carré, but the geometric print vase was nicknamed 'Escher' after the artist Maurits Escher who produced many surrealistic prints along this style. The pattern has geometric angles giving it a 3D impression. It's in a rich red with white and is the 4" version. This is pretty much untouched. Excellent clean and very collectable condition. The baseline looks untouched. No loss of print or signs of wear. A teeny internal fleabite, too small to see and photograph. 4" tall x 6" wide. Free P&P to the UK.
