A lovely smaller neutral-toned vintage indoor planter by Broadstairs Pottery, Kent. Circa 1970s or so - the pottery ran from 1968 to 1983. Broadstairs Pottery was David James White and Mary Dening I believe, but some pots are also by Dianne Sanders. It is stamped to the base, with a 'D' initial. Typical of the 70s Studio Pottery era, and much like works from Tremain and Louis Hudson. Warm biscuit coloured unglazed lower third with three rows of incised shapes, top half is a brown/beige glaze. It's wheel thrown stoneware/pottery, handmade, and is cylindrical. It's a smaller sized 10cm tall x 10.5cm wide (inner is 9cm tall x 9cm), ideal for smaller plants like succulents and cacti. Very good condition with no chips, see pics. Some deliberate rustic imperfections. Free P&P within the UK.
