I've not been able to identify this lovely vintage art glass sculpture of a stylised dolphin/whale. Another website site describes as by ZBS (Zelezny Brod Sklo) or Scandinavian, but I wonder if it's Murano (Italy) as he's very similar to pieces by Nason.
He's a minimalist and simplified design, beautifully formed and recognisable. He has indented eyes, an exaggerated mouth and a flat polished base. Skilfully mouth blown and hand made by an artist. This example is a pale greeny grey colour. He has some tiny natural bubbles and tooling marks from being handmade.
A high quality fishy modernist/minimalist sculpture in good condition. He has a small slither chip to his baseline. 12cm long x 18cm tall x 5.5cm deep.
