A large 925 sterling silver retro/vintage brooch dating from the 1970s or so. The silver brooch is curved feather or leaf with central curved spine, some openwork and barbs, with outer flat shiny and contrasting brutalist abstract blocks. Retro modernist in style. It is stamped '925 A*D' which is Andreas Daub, Germany - so German origin. It does look typical of their work from the mid century. 
Apx 45 x 25mm, weighing 5.4 grams. Roll-over pin to reverse works well. Bright shiny 925 grade silver to the uppers, very good condition, wearable... an unusual piece!
