A cute 1970s Studio Pottery piggy bank figurine... He's by Surrey Ceramics and I believe this little fellow is 1970s vintage. He has a raised pattern of teardrop and oval shapes, with outlines and dots, in an Indian or Paisley style. It's a neutral cream/beige glaze, with darker highlights. He has cute long eye lashes, smiling face and a curly tail too! Pottery hollow pig shape with a pale clay base. He has a slot to his back for money - with no means of opening him - and he's empty, suggesting very little use. He's stamped to the base with 'Surrey Ceramics England'. 9cm tall x 13cm long x 8cm deep. Excellent condition. More for display for a grown-up than for a child's toy - although it would look great out of reach in a nursery! Perfect for a retro home. Includes P&P to the UK.
