A striking mid-century porcelain jug vase made by Seltmann Weiden, Vohenstrauss, Bavaria, Germany. Circa 1960s/1970s vintage. 
The op art design uses both brutalist bark textures and contrasting indented smooth disc shapes, no doubt inspired by the space age and lunar landings. It's a large cylinder pitcher, with handle and spout, which doubles up as a vase. All glossy and bright white with a lovely Modernist design. It looks to be model no 1840 28 (slight impressed numbers to the base).
Excellent clean and usable and displayable condition. 28cm tall x 10cm diameter. Would hold a dozen longer statement stems if used as a vase.
Perfect for a modern, minimal, retro or Mid-century home.
