A beautiful boxed mid century Modernist brooch. It is fully hallmarked to the reverse (multiple hallmarks) with the designer's name 'Geoffrey G Bellamy' and 'Ivan Tarratt, Eng' then the anchor and lion for Birmingham Sterling 925 silver, and an 'R' for 1966. Also stamped with the company 'GT Ld' - George Tarrat Ltd, Leicester. It's mid century modern in style - simplified and beautiful. Two leaves are satin, one is shinier, mounted on minimalist stems.
The 1960s vintage box is original to the piece and has the George Tarrat logo inside. 
Lovely condition with a good shine. A different sort of basic roll-over pin which works well.  A nice size yet still simple and delicate and slimline: 62 x 32mm. Weighs 9g. Boxed is aged and worn externally.
