A space-inspired textured 'mantel vase' by SylvaC, England, from the Monsoon range of textured ceramics. Model no 3884, 1960s vintage.
It's a narrow oval flared bowl shape, on a foot, intended as a flower arranging pot for the mantelpiece. A mid sized 13cm high x 26.5cm wide x 7.3cm deep (max). It's in a more unusual spring yellow satin glaze over the 3D random splatter / moon crater textured design. Stamped on the base with 'Made by SylvaC England 3884'. The pale yellow is lovely, and closer to photos 4 and 5.
Good displayable collectable condition. No visible crazing or cracks, but probably more suited to dried flowers and for display in a collection (untested for water tightness). A few small baseline nibbles on the white baseline. See photos.
