A cute vintage pottery elephant money box by Trentham Art Ware pottery (England)...
He's a glossy mid green and has a cute lowered face and trunk. He has typical Trentham duck-egg blue/green dripping lines, following the design around. The moulded ceramic is model number 4495, written to the base. It maintains its original plastic stopper (tatty inside if removed) and is all fully functional. He's an Indian style elephant with subtle detail to the saddle/headdress. A hard to find model shape. Circa 1960s/1970s era. 
11cm long x 7.5cm wide x 7.5cm tall. Good condition with some tiny signs of age/use. One ear has a fine graze to the top, see main photo. Great for a collection/gift.
