A lovely stainless steel dish or small tray, designed by Gerald Benney for Viners, Sheffield, England. Simple Modernist styling with quality build, printed internally with a symmetrical floral geometric graphic. The graphic is a grey and black over the silver steel. Dating from around the 1960s. A stylish dish in a rounded rectangular shape with flat shiny rim. 
Designer Gerald Benney worked for Viners - a collaboration that produced the iconic stainless steel Studio pattern cutlery. His designs are known for their Scandinavian-inspired minimalist style. Benney designed for Viners from 1957 to 1969. 
Very good shiny condition, it hasn't really been used but has a few small rim marks due to storage. Stamped to the base with the Viners Gerald Benney logo. 27cm long x 13.5cm wide x 2cm deep... deep enough for crisps and nibbles and party snacks. 
A mid century retro-styled steel tableware piece, perfect for display and use.
