A fabulous unused Danish herb or spice rack, rotating and wall mounted. It has eight pressed glass jars which unscrew, each with a shaker prise-off top for re-filling. Their black plastic lids are fixed to the central wheel. The central roundel is teak, double layered - the lower layer has two holes for the wall mounting, the upper is flat, round and minimal, showing off the teak woodgrain with its original 'Made in Denmark' sticker. The set comes with its original pack of sticky labels to add to the jars - 12 different English black and gold stickers. It also comes with the original vintage wall fixing kit - see photos.
Circa 1960s-1970s mid century vintage - all typical of its era and modernist Scandinavian styling. Excellent for age, it may have a few tiny marks from sitting around for 50 years. Being unused it's very clean with no damage, just a bit stiff to rotate from lack of use! The structure is sturdy with no wobbles when everything is fastened and in place. (Please hold the black lid firm when screwing the jars into place).
Each jar is about 9 x 5cm. The solid teak centre is 10cm diameter, while the flat back is 14.5cm wide. The wheel totals 33cm wide and is about 7cm deepest.
