A small and medium Midwinter Pottery jug, circa 1970s to early 1980s vintage. They are the Midwinter Stonehenge shape (base of cream with random iron oxide brown speckles/trim which is 'Creation') with the glossy Moon design - deep blue and lighter blue stripes. The design was by Eve Midwinter and it was launched in 1973 and produced until the mid 1980s. Very retro and a design classic in one of the harder to find colour-ways.
Jugs are versatile and multi-purpose and are the small and medium sizes: 7.3cm tall to rim x 8cm diameter and 9.7cm tall x 10cm diameter. They hold about 200ml max (small) and 400ml max (medium). Simple cylinder shapes. Base stamped, also with the Midwinter printed logos.
Both very good, hardly touched. They have no cutlery marks internally. No noticeable scratches to the print, no chips or crazing. Due to the nature of the random glazes these are all slightly different and unique with different speckles and stripes.
Includes P&P to the UK. Price is for the pair, delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
