A chunky and cute vintage ceramic/pottery hedgehog money box by Trentham Art Ware pottery (England). Circa 1970s era. 
He's a glossy teal or petrol blue and has a cute pensive face. He has lighter muted blue glazes to the tops of his rounded spines, with darker indents. The moulded ceramic is model number 357 I believe, and is just stamped 'Made in England' with the decorator's mark 'G'. Money slot to the top and it maintains its original plastic stopper and is all fully functional with not many signs of use. 
A larger ornamental nocturnal creature at apx 16.5cm long x 11.5cm wide x 9.5cm tall. Very good condition with no chips - a lovely example for a collection or for out of reach in a nursery. Please see pics.
