A hard to find stylish pair of mid-century salad or vegetable servers by Thor Bjorklund and Sonner A/S, Norway. Circa 1960s/1970s vintage - they're in a Modernist/Scandinavian design, simple and smart. Quality 18/8 stainless steel with slim rounded steel uppers which neatly merge into the teak hardwood handles. All very tactile and smooth and beautiful. 
Thor Bjørklund (1889-1975) was a Norwegian inventor and businessman, most famous for the iconic cheese shaver/cutter.
Very good boxed condition with no real signs of use. The teak is good with no chips and a natural finish. Both 26.5cm long and stamped 'Made in Norway' to the backs. Box is very good, with polystyrene inner tray and clear plastic lid.
