A funky orange stripe 414-16 Scheurich ceramic vase. It's from the 'fat lava' era of the 1960s-1970s, from West Germany, and maintains its original label. 
The glaze is glossy smooth browns/beiges with a stripe of vivid glossy orange all the way round. It has an ornamental handle. The design and colour is typical of the fat lava designs of the post war West German vases from the mid century era. Glossy dark brown inside. Base reads '414-16 W.Germany'. 16.5cm tall x 10cm wide at wide cylinder.
Very good condition with no chips. The beige glaze is deliberately crackled. Please see all pictures too. Adds a fab splash of retro colour!
