A 'Classic' ceramic vase by Hornsea, England, from the Lancaster Vitramic range. Circa mid 1970s vintage.
This is a smaller version of the design, with handles. It's similar to an old Greek/Roman urn. The stripes are indented, obviously inspired by the Summit/Doric ranges. The vase shape seems to have originated in the mid 60s as model number 835, part of the White Wedding range; this version in matt brown is mid 70s.
16.5cm tall x 7.5cm widest. Rim is 5.5cm wide.
In very good condition with no chips.
