A lovely mid century small ceramic art dish, produced by Nymolle, Denmark, with a typically stylised design by French whimsical artist/illustrator Raymond Peynet (1908–1999). It depicts a woman at her open window with singing birds. The print is deep petrol blue/green over an off-white glazed fine ceramic or porcelain. Circa 1960s vintage. Model number 2134-405.
Very good condition. Stamped with logo and information to reverse, along with 'Peymet'. The piece is 12.5 x 9.5 x 2cm... a rounded rectangular scooping shape. Ideal as an ornamental plate, a pin or jewellery dish, a soap dish etc.
